Zettoman!

Zettoman

From the beginning of my life, I've always loved Toy Story

The Best Movies of the 1990s!!!

Movies

The 90s was a great decade for film genre development. There was such a wide variety of great films from the 90s, that I almost thought that it was impossible to divise a list. Luckilly, I was able to narrow it down. So here we go!

1. In 1995, visual effects and animation got a new name, that name was Toy Story. Toy Story is a groundbreaking, funny, clever, and outstanding motion picture! It's a journey, brought together by the historic cinematography techniques that it invented, and by the wit of its' dialogue, that keeps people of all ages satisfied. Toy Story is amazing!!!

Toy Story In John Lasseter's/Pixar's Toy Story, we have a new age in voice acting by the talented cast, Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Don Rickles, Jim Varney, and Wallace Shawn, and mind melting animation. Randy Newman gives provides the film with cathy, fun songs, and a terrific film score. And in the end, we love this picture!

Pulp Fiction

2. Qunetin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction is among the greatest screenplays ever written. If you haven't seen this film, where have you been. In my house, this film is quoted at least once a day, and the reason is because of the fantastic dialogue in Tarantino's script, and the performances by the cast which includes John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Uma Thurman, and Bruce Willis. This movie's funny as hell, and is full of energy and excitement. It's a masterpiece!

Forrest Gump

3. Forrest Gump is kind of like a history book, but the greatest history book you'll ever read. But really it's more like an edu-pic on history channel, and I say that because Forrest goes on a historic journey, and you get to be apart of his journey through a camera scope. Tom Hanks is absolutely stunning in this film, he plays Forrest in a very complicated, emotional, likable way, which is unusual, but he makes it work. The visual effects are great, and the score, the direction, and the editing make the film all the greater. This is an eventful movie.

Saving Private Ryan

4. Stephen Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan is probably the most moving war movie of all time. It is literally flawless! The performance by Mr. Tom Hanks, is heart-breaking, the cinematography and sound is gritty and real, the score by John Williams is of course amazing, and the story is worth while and original. The action scenes aren't trying to be cool and over the top, it's directed and stylized in a realistic, beautiful way. Saving Private Ryan is one of Spielberg's best!

T2: Judgement Day

5. James Cameron's T2 is one of the greatest action movies ever made. It's scenes are done with drama and suspense, rather than action and unnecessary violence. The whole idea of the franchise is smart, and Cameron adds a new dimension to the original story. It brought new grounds to special effects and for that reason alone, it is worth seing. But the genius of this film, is that the visual effects stand out with the story, instead of just standing out on their own.
